We arrived to the water park just before it started raining and storming thus causing it to close. The first encounter was that of the customer service received by the staff when my family and I went to the water park. From that point on that was all that I could talk highly about the resort, everything else from that point on was a total fail. The home we stayed in was also nice with nice space and a warm home feel. The clubhouse was beautiful with a nice water park and so many amenities to make a vacation great. My family and I arrived to the Resort on, at first glance everything was ok and seemed perfect. I would suggest a full set of pots and pans, baking sheets and small cooking utensils and any other basic cookware that you would find in a kitchen. The only negatives was that for a house rental there were not a lot of kitchen items that are necessary to cook with, especially if you are going with a large group. They also provide complimentary shuttles to the theme parks which are just 10 minutes away. The near nearby pavilion has restaurants, shopping, fitness center, childcare center as well as an on-site water park, 3 water slides and Olympic size pool area. The house was incredibly clean and suited our needs perfectly. Pool and Jacuzzi outside, billiard game room and bar area, as well as media center on 2nd floor. The other rental homes at the resort sleep anywhere from 4-20 people. We rented 291 Falls Drive, an 11 BR/5 Bath home and it was perfect. We had a group of 15 for a small family reunion and decided on the Encore Resort instead of a hotel as it appeared to provide us with everything we would need for a successful event. I would not recommend this resort here in Florida. We had great recommendations but they failed to live up to their expectations. Our renters LRR was a big disappointment. ![]() It seems like the resort is lacking employees like them. ![]() From Juan making sure we were ok and Kira making sure our children where fed before us was astonishing. They went above and beyond to take care of us. Thank you to I believe her name is Kira and her manager Juan. Be on all the frustrations and headaches there where two specific employees who went above and beyond to accommodate our wishes. No one was able to answer nor for fill our demands. ![]() It seemed like there was no type of management nor authority figure present. From the front desk to the service by the servers in the restaurant would’ve been some what welcoming it might have changed my opinion on the resort. But our family would’ve appreciated it more if the service at the clubhouse would’ve been better. Unfortunately it wasn’t the case the weather did not cooperate here either. We escaped our terrible weather back home in Wisconsin to at least appreciate a little bit of sunshine here in Florida.
